rixos hotel switches to 3CXLONDON, UK, 29 SEPTEMBER 2017 – 3CX, developer of the next-generation software-based Unified Communications system, is pleased to announce that The Rixos Almaty Hotel in Kazakhstan has carried out the successful deployment of its VoIP PBX solution with 3CX reseller, ICG. The hotel chain was founded in 2000 and, now headquartered in Dubai, Rixos Hotels has gone on to operate 27 hotels across Europe and the Middle East and employs around 10,000 people.

The Kazakhstan hotel was looking to modernize their communications and, more specifically, simplify their phone system infrastructure. Feeling that their previous PBX was expensive and cumbersome to maintain, Network Telecommunications Manager Vassily Sonn was seeking a software solution that could cut down on cabling and reduce overall costs. After considering various solutions including Cisco Callmanager and Avaya’s USC phone system, Sonn opted for 3CX for it’s ease of installation, flexibility and advanced PMS integration.
